In 2015, I began experimenting with natural hair growth remedies. Back then, I was excited but unsure. I even tried adding silicones based on research I’d read. When I tested them on my own hair, the results were disappointing. My confidence wavered, and I paused putting my products out into the world.

Fast forward to 2022, and I faced my most difficult hair journey yet. My hair started thinning badly, especially at the crown. I wore locs, but they began to fall out until bald patches appeared. I tried every multivitamin on the market, desperate to restore my hair, but nothing worked. By early 2023, I had no choice but to cut it all off and start over.

That’s when I revisited my formulas. I stripped them back to what I knew worked natural butters, oils, herbs, and safe blends. I tested everything on myself, and my hair began to grow back stronger, thicker, and healthier than before. My confidence grew with every inch of regrowth.

I also began creating nut-free versions of my products for my daughter, who has allergies. Seeing her hair thrive without any reactions confirmed what I already knew nature works, and our bodies respond best to gentle, safe ingredients.
