In 2015, I began experimenting with natural hair growth remedies. Back then, I was excited but unsure. I eventried adding silicones based on research I’d read. When I tested them on my own hair, the results were disappointing. My confidence wavered, and I paused putting my products out into the world. Fast forward to 2022, and I faced my most difficult hair journey yet. My hair started thinning badly, especially at the crown. I wore locs, but they began to fall out until bald patches appeared. I tried every multivitamin on the market, desperate to restore my hair, but nothing worked. By early 2023, I had no choice but to cut it all off and start over. That’s when I revisited my formulas.
